Call it a partiality or less fortune but Indian winner of Nexus KitKat contest is not treated in same way as world wide. Though it was nice that the contest was launched in India but it doesn’t deliver what it promised or atleast what people expected
The rest of the world is getting the new Nexus 7 2013 model while the winners in India are receiving the older 2012 Nexus 7 model. It’s quite weird considering the company we are talking about here is Google. And while in other parts of world winner receives Nexus 7 (2013) within a week but in India Contestants are given Nexus 7 (2012) that too after waiting for long time. KitKat India has responded with a petty excuse on Twitter saying that, “We hear you’re unhappy. Winners got the Nexus7 tabs available in India in Sept (contest date). The new version launched only in Nov.”
But Kitkat India that not nice while considering your reputation and status and we really hope that Kitkat India will solve this issue and treat Indian winner as on par as rest of the world.
