On Thursday, LG Electronics unveiled it’s latest offering the LG G Pro 2 which comes with a feature rich spec sheet, some of which includes a lens capable of recording 4k Videos and a 3GB RAM.
The LG G Pro 2 has a 5.9″ (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display along with an insane 77.2 percent screen-to-frame ratio and hence a slim 3.3mm bezel . It is powered by a 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat . The smartphone also features a 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, Optical image stabilization+, 4K Ultra HD video recording, Slow motion video recording at 120 FPS and custom camera features such as Magic Focus, Flash for Selfie, Natural Flash and Burst Shot. It has a 2.1-megapixel front facing camera.
LG claims the sound on the G Pro 2 is 30 per cent louder than the G Pro thanks to its high-power 1W Hi-Fi sound speaker system which is a first of its kind for smartphones. It also has Knock ON tap to wake up option. It has rear mounted power button and volume keys, first seen on the LG G2.
The G Pro 2 will be available in the Korean market from late February and will come in three colours i.e. titan, white and red. No official word is out yet on the pricing of this device, also LG has not announced a global sales target for this phone.
