So it seems the trend of stripped down or mini versions of flagship phones is not going to end anytime sooner and to keep pace with that trend, the Korean Giant LG has announced a mini version of their one of flagship smartphone the LG G2.
The screen size on the LG G2 mini has been toned down to 4.7 inches from the original 5.2 inches on the LG G2. it has the same rear button placements we have already seen in the recently launched LG G Pro 2.
The LG G2 mini has a 4.7″ qHD LCD display(540×960). The smartphone has two variants, one of which is powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor and other with the Tegra 4i processor. it runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat . The smartphone also features a 8 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. it will come with 1GB of RAM and 8 Gigs of internal storage along with a microSD slot.
There is no word out yet on the pricing of this device but we are expecting LG to showcase this device in this year’s MWC event next week in Barcelona.
